The child supervisor assists parents in agreeing on matters concerning their child, including custody, visitation, and child support. You will work within family law services for clients of the Southwest Finland Wellbeing Services County in statutory tasks related to parenthood, custody, visitation rights, and child support. Additionally, your responsibilities include tasks related to the enforcement of spousal support under the Marriage Act, supervised and supported visitation tasks under the Social Welfare Act, and preparing related service decisions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary unit and supported by a broad team: the unit employs 16 child supervisors, 6 social workers, 3 social guidance officers, 1 legal-children supervisor, 3 administrative assistants, a chief child supervisor, and a head of family law services. The family law services actively develop their work methods and collaborate nationally and regionally with professionals from various specialized services.
