We are looking for a motivated and energetic cook/food worker to join Baba Foods in East Helsinki, focusing on vegetarian food production. The job includes tasks such as raw material preparation, cooking, and proper cooling of finished products. You will also be responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Ideal candidates are diligent and proactive, comfortable with hands-on work. The work requires following recipes and instructions carefully, with a focus on safe food handling. Previous experience in kitchen or food work and good knife skills are preferred. The work is carried out in a production kitchen using large industrial machines, as well as manual tasks. We value a motivated attitude and a desire to develop skills. Success in this role requires the ability to work quickly and accurately, and to be proactive. At Baba Foods, you have the opportunity to develop existing skills and learn new tasks related to vegetarian food products. The workweek is approximately 37.5 hours, mainly between Monday and Friday from 7 am to 10 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts. The salary follows the Hospitality, Restaurant, and Leisure Services collective agreement, generally around 12-14 €/h, depending on experience. We offer a permanent position through Eezy, with the possibility of employment at Baba Foods after six months.
