Tehtävänkuvaus

We are seeking a fixed-term teacher in the forestry sector at Keuda Saaren manor. As a teacher, your duties include teaching and guiding students in basic and vocational forestry qualifications. You will be responsible for developing and updating individual competence development plans (HOKS) together with the team. Additionally, your tasks include supervising workplace learning, planning and assessing demonstrations, maintaining contact with students and workplace supervisors, and preparing training and apprenticeship agreements. Work environments include the learning environments at Saaren manor, forestry workplaces, and an online learning platform. Qualifications for the teaching position are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998. Teaching work requires up-to-date expertise in the field and professional networks. We expect student-oriented, good interaction and guidance skills, as well as the ability to implement flexible pedagogical solutions. A minimum of B-class driving license is also required. We value an open and enthusiastic attitude towards the development of the field and digital pedagogical skills. Before starting the job, the selected candidate must present a criminal background check issued within the scope of law 504/2002. The position will be filled on a trial basis.
