We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled early childhood education childcare worker to join our team. You will work in a workplace where staffing resources are adequate and support arrangements for children are managed with strong expertise. We are hiring a childcare worker for the evening group at Mutkapolku Daycare for a fixed-term employment from 03.08.2026 to 31.07.2027. Employees in the evening group work on weekdays between 5:55 and 22:00. The eligibility requirement for the position is compliance with the Finnish Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018). The position is subject to a six (6) month trial period. The selected candidate must, if necessary, submit a criminal record extract and tuberculosis screening in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002). Salary and employment terms are determined according to the municipal general collective agreement (KVTES). The specific salary for the position is 2,504.15 to 4,256.00 euros per month. Additionally, experience-based pay may be granted based on previous work experience. According to KVTES, experience-based pay is 3% or 8% of the task-specific salary, depending on relevant experience. The application deadline is June 7, 2026, at 23:59.
