We are looking for a school coach to support the growth and development of students of basic education age. Peltolan School is a lower secondary school with approximately 650 active and student-oriented students in grades 7-9, located in Tikkurila Sports Park with excellent transportation links and nearby services. Your responsibilities include: - Promoting well-being, participation, motivation, comfort, safety, social growth, and school attachment among students of basic education age. - Preventing student social exclusion and guiding them to take responsibility for their schoolwork. Providing life management skills in collaboration with guardians. - Working closely with pedagogical staff, student health personnel, and other professionals. Participating in planning and implementing community-based student welfare. - Visiting classrooms and participating in meetings with students and their networks. - Supporting students in daily activities and studies; planning, implementing, and evaluating activities. - Resolving conflicts among students and participating in school mediation activities, as well as practicing emotional and social skills. What we expect from our school coach: - Experience in supporting student well-being and learning, as well as community-based well-being work. For the 2026-2027 school year, the coach will have a significant role in developing community well-being and parental involvement. We require relevant experience and perspective. - Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration is considered an advantage. - Skills in listening, engagement, and guidance. - Independent work approach, excellent interaction and collaboration skills, and knowledge of basic education. - Ability to work in teams and networks. - Flexibility in changing situations.
