Cleaning Assistant for Daycare – Temporary Work in Vaasa. We are looking for a proactive, responsible, and meticulous cleaning assistant for temporary work at a daycare in Vaasa. In this role, you will be responsible for kitchen and cleaning tasks at the daycare – ensuring that daily routines run smoothly, hygienically, and pleasantly! Job duties - Preparing and presenting breakfast, lunch, and snacks - Cleaning kitchen and daycare facilities - Reading and considering allergy information - Collaborating with other staff members. The tasks are diverse, so we expect common sense, enthusiasm, and the ability to take initiative. Requirements - Hygiene passport - Criminal record extract suitable for working with children - Excellent English skills are sufficient for the role - Finnish and Swedish language skills are an advantage but not essential - Experience in kitchen work and cleaning - Ability to work carefully and independently Working hours Weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. Shifts are during daytime and may be short, for example, during sick leaves. The job requires quick availability, so flexibility and readiness to start on short notice are appreciated. Location The daycare is located within a maximum of 3 km from Vaasa city center, with good transportation connections.
