We are seeking a vocational guidance counselor for the construction sector at Tunturi-Lappi Competence Center in Muonio for a fixed-term employment from August 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The position is part-time at 60%. The vocational guidance counselor works with construction students and collaborates closely with teachers in the field. The role includes supporting and guiding students in their studies: providing personal support and guidance in various study-related situations, leading groups, and working alongside teachers. The work involves independent guidance with students and teamwork with vocational teachers. Additional tasks include supporting the activities of the unit and student well-being. The position requires a suitable qualification, practical diverse skills, and at least a B driver's license. Experience in guidance work, good professional networks, and practical skills in construction tasks are considered an advantage. Salary and employment terms are determined according to the Municipal General Collective Agreement (KVTES). The selected candidate must present a document proving suitability for working with minors according to Act 504/2002, and a health certificate at the start of employment. The position is subject to a four-month probation period.
