We have an opportunity to offer summer work to a few practical nurses or students nearing the end of their studies in the field! Join our cheerful community where every individual is valued. Our summer is filled with shared, meaningful moments with clients, residents, and other Validia staff. You can work hourly during the summer or take on longer-term substitutes flexibly according to your personal situation. You may be a social and health care professional or a student in practical nursing, nursing, or health care. What do we offer for the summer? Compensation according to the private social services sector collective agreement: the practical nurse salary level is G20C. Summer job tasks include taking care of clients’ basic daily functions, medication administration, documentation, and providing personal care and recreational activities. The work is guided by each client’s individual service plan. The client base at Kemi Validia House consists of clients with disabilities and other life management challenges, mental health issues, and various dependencies. In MONA units, we work with professionals from different fields, such as practical nurses, addiction and mental health care professionals, and social workers. For the summer, we are looking for colleagues for guiding, nursing, and practical nursing roles. The title depends on your educational background and completed studies. We require at least 18 years of age for work in the MONA units. Learn more about our unit at Kemi Validia House. What do we require from you this summer? Suitable social and health care education or studies nearing completion. Registration as a qualified professional in the JulkiSuosikki/JulkiTerhikki register for social/health care professionals. Vaccination protection according to Infectious Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening according to §55. Criminal record extract as required by social and health care supervision law. Sufficient Finnish language skills. What do we hope from you this summer? At least 18 years of age. Positive and cheerful summer attitude.
