Tehtävänkuvaus
We are looking for an early childhood education teacher for a permanent position starting from September 1, 2026. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated early childhood education teacher to join our team. We value a child-centered approach and commitment to pedagogical development. Our core values are joy, encouragement, safety, and caring. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible, together with your team, for pedagogical planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities. You will participate in the early childhood education work and development of the unit alongside the kindergarten director. We offer an interesting job and skilled colleagues. We ensure weekly team meetings and SAK time are held. Our units are small and homely. The surrounding nature provides excellent conditions for diverse activities throughout the year. All our work communities are development-oriented, and we encourage staff to actively and innovatively develop work methods and practices. We pay a clothing allowance of 100 euros per year for staff working in a children’s group. Additionally, our employee benefits include Epassi or a company bike benefit, occupational health care, coffee benefits, free access to designated gyms, and other activities supporting workplace well-being. The qualification requirement is compliance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) or a comparable previous vocational qualification (Act 272/2005, Regulation 608/2005). We also consider students qualifying for these roles by September 1, 2026. In such cases, the employment is conditional until the qualification can be verified. Salary is based on the OVTES Section G, with the task-specific salary formed according to the level pay system and the level of competence and responsibility, ranging from €2,901.82 to €3,065.29. The actual salary consists of the task-specific pay and possible other level-based allowances. Additionally, there are experience-based allowances according to KVTES and a possible personal performance bonus. The selected candidate must present an acceptable criminal record extract in accordance with Law 504/2002 (concerning the criminal background check of persons working with children). The Infectious Diseases Act (Section 55) requires tuberculosis risk assessment for those working with preschool children. The tuberculosis questionnaire used is prepared by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, along with interpretation instructions. The employment is subject to a 6-month probation period.
