Tehtävänkuvaus
South Savo Welfare Area Eloisa is seeking two practical nurses for permanent positions in Eloisa's substitute staff starting from September 1, 2026, or as agreed. The work area includes Mikkeli (including Ristiina and Haukivuori), Pertunmaa, Juva, Mäntyharju, and Kangasniemi. The substitute staff ensures the availability of professional personnel during various absences. They work in elderly care services, daily remote and support services, home care services, and geriatric ward services. We are looking for employees with strong professional skills in nursing, good stress tolerance, and readiness to work in multidisciplinary environments. We value an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, ability to work mobile, teamwork skills, and good cooperation and work skills. The working shifts are mainly morning and evening shifts, with night shifts as needed. During working hours, employees may use a leasing car provided by the employer, if available during the shift. Car use is an advantage. Eloisa offers employees a benefit worth 200 euros for use in sports, culture, or wellness services. We want you to enjoy working with us and feel good. Qualifications include a relevant social and health care vocational qualification or previous vocational qualification in the field, and registration in the Professional Register maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health. Additionally, sufficient oral and written Finnish language skills are required. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a health statement regarding respiratory tuberculosis as per section 55. The employment relationship includes a six (6) month probation period. Persons working with the elderly must present an acceptable criminal record extract before starting work if the employment exceeds three months (Supervision Act 741/2023, section 28).
