We are looking for a curriculum designer to join our team at Ammattiopisto Gradia for a fixed-term employment from August 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027. At Ammattiopisto Gradia, you will be part of one of Finland's largest communities of secondary vocational education. We are currently seeking a fixed-term curriculum designer to be part of our multidisciplinary curriculum planning team. The responsibilities of the curriculum designer include, among others, planning preparatory training courses. The reason for the fixed-term position is a temporary replacement. The curriculum designer supports training managers in pedagogical planning, resource management, and the annual planning of teachers. The task involves designing the training offerings to ensure they are accessible and support students' personal study paths. The offerings must also meet the needs of the labor market and corporate clients for skills development. The curriculum designer prepares training schedules and timetables. The role includes participating in substitution arrangements and managing the use of facilities, equipment, and machinery. The curriculum designer collaborates closely with supervisors, teacher teams, client managers, and work-life coordinators, and participates in the activities of the curriculum planning team at Ammattiopisto Gradia. We operate on nine campuses in Jyväskylä, Jämsä, and Lievestuore. The primary location at the start of employment is Viitaniemi campus in Jyväskylä, but tasks may also be performed at other campuses. Additionally, they should have IT skills, readiness to develop work, responsibility, and good interaction and teamwork skills. Knowledge of vocational education and experience with Visma student management systems (Primus, Kurre, Wilma) or similar systems, as well as experience in pedagogical development, are considered an advantage. Salary and employment terms are based on the municipal collective agreement (KVTES). The starting monthly salary for the position is €4,118.99. An additional experience-based salary supplement of up to 8% is paid according to KVTES. There is also an option for up to 10% personal supplement. The position follows office working hours (36 hours and 15 minutes per week). The employment includes a four-month probation period. The selected candidate must provide a criminal background check for working with children, issued within the last six months, before taking up the position.
