We are seeking a social, health, or education professional for summer employment from June to August 2026 at a 7-place basic level children's protection unit in Naantali Velkua. Our small group home is located on an island accessible by a short (approximately 7-minute) ferry ride. The distance to Naantali city center is 30 km and to Turku is 45 km. The director's duties include caring for and educating children and young people, household tasks, maintaining contacts with networks, documentation, and medication administration according to permits. The work involves three-shift rotation. We expect you to have solid professional skills and preferably previous experience in child protection, good interaction skills, and a relaxed and gentle approach when working with clients. Our staff provide support and guidance in children’s daily lives in our small group home. We also expect the employee to be able to act as a boundary-setting adult for children and young people when necessary. Experience in psychiatry is considered an advantage. Due to limited public transportation options, a driver’s license and a personal car are essential. The salary is in accordance with the private social services sector G23 D.
