Ilmari Helander Foundation for the Elderly maintains cozy service apartments in Helsinki's Haaga, Maunula, and Vuosaari. The non-profit foundation has been serving the elderly since 1967. Its operations are based on respecting the elderly, individual encounters, and an active, health-maintaining approach. Helander homes are cozy service residences offering home care, communal living, and 24-hour assisted living for seniors. Residents receive personalized services and care in a safe and warm environment. Our focus is on the resident, guided by genuine caring and a desire to support residents' well-being. We are looking for a friendly practical nurse to join our team at the service homes in Haaga and Maunula for permanent positions. As a practical nurse, your tasks include: - Caring for and supporting clients - Assessing residents' functional capacity (e.g., RAI) and documenting (care plans, daily records) - Administering, monitoring, and evaluating medication - Supporting residents' daily activities and activation - Acting as a responsible nurse and collaborating with relatives - Teamwork and cooperation with colleagues - Work involves irregular 3-shift work, mainly day shifts.
