SASKY Education Consortium is an organization providing vocational and general education, operating across several municipalities in Pirkanmaa and Satakunta. The staff employed by the consortium is approximately 500. Sasky Ikaalisten Trade School has about 180 students in business, information and communication technology, as well as social and health sectors. We are seeking a full-time business teacher for Sasky Ikaalisten Trade School in Ikaalinen, to be employed on a permanent basis starting August 1, 2026. The workplace at the start of the employment is Ikaalinen. The duties of the full-time business teacher include teaching vocational modules in business, as well as common modules (e.g., social studies and entrepreneurship) and guiding students' learning in both face-to-face and online studies. The teacher's core tasks include collaboration with working life, assessment of learning and skills, documentation, and guidance tasks such as planning and implementing learning paths and personal development plans. Planning and development work are also part of the teacher's core responsibilities. The selected candidate must have pedagogical qualifications for teaching vocational modules (as per the Decree 986/1998, Section 13), a suitable higher education degree, and at least three years of practical experience in business tasks. The salary for the position is based on the selected person's qualifications, education, experience, and annually confirmed working hours. The basic salary for a full-time qualified full-time teacher is at least €3,481/month. Additional task-specific pay and possible contractual supplements are also paid. Terms of employment are governed by the municipal sector teaching staff collective agreement (OVTES, Section C). The position follows the annual working hours specified in OVTES. The working hours at the start of employment are at least 800 hours, to be confirmed annually. The position is subject to a 6-month probation period. Before starting work, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as per law 504/2002 and accept a medical certificate of health.
