Hello, interested in assisting work? Join the happy team and do important, customer-oriented work in assistant services in a permanent employment! As a personal assistant, you help our clients live their own full and meaningful lives. Onni's clients are individuals who need help with daily tasks due to illness or disability. You assist with household chores and activities outside the home. Client needs may vary and tasks are determined by the client's condition and individual assistance requirements. The work is diverse and may include multiple clients and tasks in the same day if desired. You do not need formal training or previous experience; a positive attitude towards assisting work, willingness to learn, and customer-oriented approach in various situations are sufficient. A driver’s license and access to a personal car are required for the job. All new assistants will receive comprehensive training at Onni’s Assistant Academy before starting work, and training continues as needed during employment. You will receive ongoing guidance and support from your team supervisor, and you will never be alone with questions or work-related challenges; we take care of that! The work is mainly in two shifts on weekdays and weekends. Shift lengths vary from two hours upwards, and a workday may consist of one or more different clients. You can influence your shifts and work part-time or on a flexible, gig basis that best suits your life situation. We consider both the assistance needs of our clients and the work preferences of our assistants to match them as well as possible. The first shift for a client is a training shift if needed, after which both the assistant and the client can evaluate the cooperation and compatibility. If later you feel something is concerning or not working as planned, we will discuss and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for multiple clients at Onni by coordinating schedules. We hope for B2-level Finnish language skills, a driver’s license, and access to a personal car if needed, and that you are of legal age. After the probation period, employees can join the Tradeka health insurance fund if working at least 10 hours per week and employed for at least 6 months (more info). Salary is in accordance with the private social services sector collective agreement (G15A): €12.79 - €14.06/hour plus possible shift allowances. Would this be your new job?
