Welcome to Oma Häme for a position as a director in disability services! We are seeking a fixed-term practical nurse to serve as a supervisor at the Matinkulma home in Hämeenlinna. We hope you can start as soon as possible, and the fixed-term employment will last until December 31, 2026. Matinkulma homes provide 24-hour supported living for individuals of all ages with severe disabilities. Our operations are based on customer orientation, respectful encounters, and high-quality basic care, with each resident's individual needs and functional capacity at the center. In late spring, our operations will be divided into two locations: Ilveskoti and Matintie. You will have the opportunity to participate in launching the new unit and developing operational practices. As a supervisor, you will work in practical nurse roles, responsible for daily assistance, care, guidance, and domestic tasks for residents. Your role will enable a cozy, safe, and stimulating everyday life together with other staff. You need medication authorization, which can be obtained with us at the start of employment. Your work will focus on supporting residents' well-being and self-determination. The salary for this position is €2,611.70 per month. In addition to the base salary, we pay experience-based supplements, which can range from 0% to 8%. The accumulation of vacation days is based on service time. Salary and other employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. A trial period applies. The extent of benefits depends on the length of the fixed-term contract. Employees working with the elderly and disabled must present a criminal record extract as per the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023), section 28.1. In direct patient and client work, vaccination protection required by the Infectious Diseases Act section 48 and a tuberculosis clearance as per section 55 are required.
