We are now looking for an HR Specialist to strengthen our team at the Pikkala factory. At Prysmian Finland, the role of HR is to ensure that people processes effectively support our business and that everyday work runs smoothly for both employees and managers. In this position, you will play a key role in managing HR operations at the Pikkala factory and act as a trusted HR contact for managers and employees in day‑to‑day people matters. This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on everyday operations while contributing to the development of HR processes in a hands‑on way within an international industrial environment. Role focus Taking full responsibility for smooth day‑to‑day HR operations and ensuring a seamless employee experience in everyday people matters Managing daily employment‑related topics such as employment contracts, changes during the employment lifecycle, working hours and employment terms Providing practical guidance to managers in interpreting labour legislation and collective agreements Handling employee relations topics and supporting in resolving people‑related matters when needed Ensuring that all employment matters are handled consistently, efficiently, and in a people‑centric and compliant way Contributing to the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems, with a strong focus on effective day‑to‑day people leadership What we expect from you Experience working independently in a broad HR role, taking ownership of daily HR operations; experience in payroll is considered an advantage Solid understanding of labour legislation and collective agreements – preferably within the Finnish Technology Industries framework – and the ability to apply them in everyday situations A people‑oriented and solution‑focused approach with a strong service mindset Strong execution skills with a hands‑on approach and the ability to prioritize and maintain a clear overview in a fast‑paced international manufacturing environment Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken A relevant educational background (e.g. HR, business administration, or similar) What we offer A visible and impactful HR role where you can see the results of your work in everyday operations within a leading global industrial company A versatile position offering opportunities to continuously develop and broaden your HR expertise Close collaboration with managers and employees across the organization A professional and supportive HR community across Europe A growing, fast‑paced and dynamic working environment Comprehensive employee benefits, including occupational health care, medical expense coverage, dental care, as well as lunch and wellbeing benefits Flexible working hours and a hybrid working model with the possibility to work remotely one day per week This is a full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible once we find the right person.
