Business Controller, Attendo, Helsinki - Academic Work

As a Business Controller, you will serve as an important financial partner to regional directors and regional managers. Your role involves providing financial data to support decision-making, analyzing business metrics, and helping to identify underlying phenomena behind the figures. You will work closely with operational management and participate in the development of your region's activities. You will be responsible for the financial support of your geographical area and act as a sparring partner for regional management. The role combines analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the opportunity to influence business development by bringing a financial perspective to decision-making. This is a true business partnering role, working closely with the business and impacting its development. Responsibilities include acting as a financial partner to regional managers and directors, working with regional management and finance experts, participating in regional management activities, contributing to budgeting and forecasting, analyzing and reporting on financial performance, producing data and insights, and communicating financial figures clearly to stakeholders. We seek candidates with a relevant higher education degree, at least 2–3 years of experience in similar roles, interest in business analysis, excellent Excel and Power BI skills, fluent Finnish, and good communication skills.
