Vaiha Oy is a family-owned restaurant company based in Mikkeli, operating since 2017. The Vaiha restaurants include Vaiha Asema at Mikkeli railway station, Restaurant Pormestari in the inner courtyard of Mikkeli City Hall, and a new lunch and catering restaurant Vaiha Elias in Mikkeli Kauko in January 2026. During the summer, the terrace restaurant Pikku Pormestari operates in the courtyard of Mikkeli City Hall, offering a place to enjoy good food, drinks, music, and company. We are enthusiastic and passionate about our work. We aim to develop our operations by providing our customers with high-quality restaurant experiences throughout the year, including lunch, catering, and events. WE ARE looking for a full-time and permanent cook. Your work location can be either Pormestari or Elias, or you can work at both locations. The work includes evening and weekend shifts. We offer a diverse work environment and varied tasks. As a cook, your responsibilities include food preparation, plating, and all other tasks related to the cook's role.
