Welding-capable assembly fitter / Sheet Metal Worker We are looking for a proactive and precise assembly fitter or sheet metal worker for our client in Rauma. You will work in a modern machine shop where various equipment assemblies and structures are manufactured for industry and shipbuilding needs. In this role, you will utilize both your assembly skills and metalworking expertise. Your tasks include: * Assembly of various equipment and steel structures * Fitting parts and performing assembly welding (mainly MIG/MAG) * Working independently and accurately according to technical drawings and assembly instructions * Ensuring the dimensional accuracy and quality of completed assemblies We hope the applicant has: * Previous experience in machine shop assembly and/or sheet metal work * Excellent reading of technical drawings: this is an essential requirement for success in this role, as work is largely based on drawings and images * Sufficient welding skills for assembly needs (part fixing and basic welding) * Proficiency with common hand tools and machine shop equipment * Precise, proactive, and solution-oriented work attitude We offer: * A versatile and independent role in a tidy machine shop environment * A long-term position in a stable and reputable company * A salary at least according to the collective agreement or better based on your skills and experience * A dedicated contact person to assist you in all situations The employment relationship will initially be with WE Rekry.
