Primary location: SALO We are now looking for an ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER at Rikala Restaurant in Salo! The position is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours/week), best suited for someone who wants to lead a team by example and has gained experience in responsible roles within the restaurant industry. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the operations of Rikala Restaurant together with the Restaurant Manager. Your work will be a diverse mix of daily management, solving various changing situations, motivating the team, and customer service alongside the rest of the staff. Rikala’s combined restaurant and hotel experience is versatile: the restaurant serves both lunch and à la carte, and various celebrations and events keep your work interesting and dynamic. You will also be actively involved in promoting sales of Rikala’s new event space. Quite versatile, isn’t it? What do we expect from an Assistant Manager? Enjoy customer service and leading people. You are a strong customer service professional and want to develop the restaurant’s daily operations. Education and previous experience in restaurant management are definitely advantages. However, apply even if you are transitioning into your first managerial role in the industry; the most important thing is your willingness and ability to take responsibility and lead a team in a people-oriented and encouraging manner. Willingness to promote sales and customer satisfaction at Rikala’s new event space. Ability to work flexible shifts in the restaurant environment, including weekdays and weekends. Also, a hygiene passport and fluent Finnish language skills are required. Proficiency in English is also a plus. We want to offer you: Salary according to MaRa’s collective agreement based on your skills and education. Your monthly salary will range from €2,501 to €3,713.
