Työtehtävän kuvaus
Haapajärvi Rehabilitation Unit has 25 beds. We are looking for an active and motivated assistant nurse for a temporary position to strengthen our skilled team. The temporary position begins on 18 June 2026 or as agreed and lasts until 29 April 2027. We offer meaningful work in elderly rehabilitation — in your work, you will support clients' functional capacity and quality of life through diverse means. The assistant nurse's work involves responsible and comprehensive rehabilitative care. Your workday will consist of varied tasks requiring strong professional skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The work is in three shifts. Qualifications include compliance with the decree on health care professionals (564/1994) or equivalent previous qualification. We will verify original diplomas and employment certificates during interviews. Applicants must be registered in the register maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Terhikki and/or Suosikki). Additionally, a valid medication administration competence or completion within three (3) months of starting employment is required. Interviews will be held on 3 June 2026 from 13:00 to 16:00. Candidates will be invited personally. The selected person must present a criminal record extract issued in accordance with the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023) before starting the position. We apply a probationary period of up to 6 months for employment. The probation period can be up to half of the employment duration in fixed-term contracts lasting less than 12 months. Regarding staff vaccination, we follow the vaccination requirements of the Employment and Infectious Diseases Act.
