Job Description The role of a mechanical maintenance technician is very diverse. In this independent position, you will be responsible for maintaining a challenging production environment, mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations. We hope you will also contribute to developing operations. The primary goal is to ensure that our production runs efficiently and safely without interruptions. The maintenance department supporting five business units at Vierumäki is a highly efficient and professional team that ensures the effective operation of the sawmill's production. Skills and Qualifications The position requires education in maintenance or engineering. Due to the independent nature of the role, we are primarily looking for someone with sufficient skills and experience to work independently in an industrial environment. We value the ability and experience to troubleshoot production lines, perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and development tasks independently. Good social skills are also an advantage.
