The Happi unit offers integrated care combining substance abuse and dependency treatment, somatic and mental health care, considering the client's social situation comprehensively. The unit provides opioid substitution therapy and conducts assessments for substitution treatment. Happi also operates in Hatanpää at Sarvinen's premises, where psychosocial support is provided, and mainly injectable opioid substitution therapy is administered as part of the service package. As a nurse, your task is to care for adult mental health and substance abuse patients using methods and practices agreed upon or defined by the employer. Your role is to promote patients' well-being and rehabilitation while ensuring smooth and needs-based care. The nurse brings specialized expertise based on their education to the unit. What kind of professional are we looking for? You are a legally licensed nurse in Finland. You have completed the medication management LOVe online tests successfully. If necessary, you can update your medication management skills with us before starting employment. You speak and write Finnish well. You have previous experience in mental health and/or substance abuse work. You are familiar with opioid substitution therapy. You hold a B driving license. Start date is 1 September 2026 or as agreed. The probation period is six months. The working hours are full-time, approximately 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The work primarily involves day shifts. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) section 48 and must present a criminal record extract according to section 6, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Records Act before starting employment.
