Are you interested in making an impact through your work by supporting our clients to live independently and safely in their own homes for as long as possible? Our clients are residents of Western Uusimaa, receiving security assistance services across all municipalities in the wellbeing area, mostly elderly. We are hiring twelve security assistants (practical nurses) to work in Espoo and Kauniainen, providing security assistance tasks at clients' homes. You will help build a new operation alongside other experts in the wellbeing area, ensuring high-quality, prompt help around the clock. Your main responsibilities include receiving alarm calls via an electronic alarm center system, visiting clients' homes independently, assessing their needs, providing immediate first aid or other support, evaluating further assistance needs, and coordinating additional help if necessary. You will also document in the system, report to other professionals, collaborate with authorities, and install and check security devices. Interested? Apply soon and tell us why we should choose you! Interviews are held in Espoo from June 15-30, 2026, with a start date ideally by September 14. Work address: Karaportti 5 and Merikansantie 3-5, Espoo. Work hours: 114h 45min/3 weeks, three-shift work. The position is permanent. Qualifications include a practical nurse degree with basic emergency care or nursing and care, a driver’s license, knowledge of emergency and crisis center operations, understanding of home support services, good communication skills in Finnish and sufficient Swedish, and the ability to work independently and learn new systems quickly. Additional valued skills include other language skills, experience with elderly care, and valid medication permits. A criminal background check, vaccination, and tuberculosis screening are required.
