The City of Rovaniemi's Education Services includes 21 primary schools, two high schools, and two institutions providing basic arts education. Senior professionals are responsible for maintenance and servicing of school machinery and equipment, as well as maintenance of craft tools and installation of presentation technology equipment. Senior professionals work across all schools in the municipality. The qualification requirement for the position is a suitable vocational qualification or an equivalent previous qualification, a professional qualification, or a special professional qualification. If the position cannot be filled with a qualified person, it may also be filled temporarily with a person who has sufficient education and skills required for the task. Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the Municipal Sector's Technical Staff Collective Agreement, with a basic salary of 2,469.23 euros. We require substitutes to have good cooperation and interaction skills, an open attitude, flexibility, and an active and proactive work approach. Additionally, applicants must be at least 18 years old and have sufficient Finnish language skills. Previous work experience as a senior professional or similar role is considered an advantage.
