As a Data Engineer, you will work as part of Insta Advance's data team on customer projects that involve building modern data platforms and data-based solutions, especially for industry and critical infrastructure needs. Your work includes building integrations, data pipelines, and data warehouse solutions, as well as modeling various data sets such as time series and sensor data according to customer needs. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the rest of the project team, and you will also participate in solution design, customer cooperation, and continuous development. You will work primarily with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Python, and SQL. Solutions utilize medallion architecture and modern CI/CD practices. Depending on your interests, you may also work with Power BI, data science, machine learning, or AI solutions. The employment is full-time and permanent, and the contract is made with Biisoni. The work location is in Tampere at Finlayson, and we hope you can work at the office at least a few times a month. What do we expect from you? You have several years of experience in similar roles and practical knowledge of modern data platforms and building data pipelines. We expect experience with either Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, as well as Python and SQL. Additionally, understanding medallion architecture, lakehouse-based solutions, and notebook-based work supports success in the role. Broad experience, for example in Power BI, data science, machine learning, AI solutions, or application development, is seen as an advantage. Above all, we hope for an interest in learning new things and a desire to develop quickly in a changing technological landscape. Success in the role requires fluent Finnish language skills and good English language skills. We also value a consulting mindset, good interaction skills, and the ability to discuss architecture and solutions with clients. A basic security clearance, including an investigation of foreign connections, will be required for the selected candidate. Why us? The salary range for the position is preliminarily 4,500–6,500 euros per month, with the final salary determined by experience and skills. Interested?
