We are currently recruiting for Perhepalvelut Ruori's specialized children's home Esko and basic-level children's home Kivis. PART-TIME WORKERS Starting from June 1, 2026, or by agreement Esko is a specialized unit providing high-quality child protection services for children and young people aged 12–17. The unit aims to maintain a normal daily life, guided by individual weekly plans and communal activities. It specializes in working with children showing psychological or substance abuse symptoms. Children receive strong adult support. Kivis is a basic-level unit providing high-quality child protection services for children and young people aged 10–18. The unit aims to maintain a normal daily life, guided by individual weekly plans and communal activities. Children receive strong adult support. Kivis focuses on children’s resources and strengthening them. About the role As a guide, you play an important role as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your tasks include guiding daily activities in the children's home and supporting the youth. The position follows shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends. What are we looking for? The role requires a basic degree in social and health care or a higher education degree in social or health care, including educational qualifications. We expect good communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully and kindly with both children and adults. The role requires a child-centered and solution-focused approach. Experience in child protection and skills in psychiatric, neurodiversity, trauma, family work, or substance abuse work are valued. A driver’s license and a valid hygiene passport are required.
