HR Specialist - Outokumpu Stainless Oy - Tornio, Suomi

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join the HR Delivery Finland team. If you are enthusiastic about ensuring smooth HR processes, practical personnel administration tasks, and continuous service development, this could be the next step in your career. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for efficiently and quality-assuredly executing personnel administration tasks related to various stages of employment. You will work broadly across HR areas, develop procedures, and participate in development projects related to HR processes and systems. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, contributing to building a high-quality employee experience as part of a skilled and cooperative team. We operate in an international environment, so fluent English skills are required, and you should be confident in using English actively. English will be part of your daily work, for example, in cooperation with various stakeholders, partners, and colleagues. Main responsibilities: Maintain and manage personnel data in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness; Handle time tracking processes and support managers and employees in system usage; Ensure the delivery of payroll data to external payroll providers and support managers and employees with payroll-related questions; Participate in the development of HR and payroll processes and systems, and in various development projects; Manage practices related to employee benefits and pension matters, and handle payroll reporting; Work closely with external service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery. You are the right person if you have: At least two years of experience in personnel administration or payroll; A suitable university degree (e.g., in HR management or business administration); Good understanding of Finnish labor legislation and collective agreements; Strong digital skills and interest in developing HR systems and processes; Precise, proactive, and solution-oriented working style; Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach; Fluent Finnish language skills and good English skills.
