Lahti Upper Secondary School Gaudia operates partly in new facilities and partly in renovated premises at the Paavola campus. Most of the 1,440 students at Gaudia study on the general line. Additionally, Gaudia offers national special tasks including English-language IB diploma education, as well as art and music. We hope to welcome active, cooperative, and participative individuals to our excellent work community. Experience in upper secondary education is considered an advantage. The qualification requirement is to hold a teaching qualification in religion and psychology for upper secondary schools. Teacher qualifications are determined according to the decree no 986/98 on the qualifications of education personnel. When filling permanent positions, only applicants who meet the qualification requirements at the end of the application period will be considered. Please indicate your qualification status in your application and attach copies of degree certificates proving your qualifications; original certificates may be requested at the interview. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002. A drug test certificate may also be requested. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
