Helsinki City Theatre is seeking a sound designer. If you have a passion for theatre and want to be part of the technical core of performances, this could be your opportunity. Helsinki City Theatre is looking for **Sound Designer** for the period **August 3, 2026, to March 31, 2027**, or as agreed. As a sound designer, you will create experiences for the audience and ensure **high-quality sound technical execution** during rehearsals and performances. Your tasks include managing sound cues and controls during shows, preparing sound technology for rehearsals and performances, and operating, assembling, disassembling, and maintaining equipment. You will also participate in storing sound equipment, managing inventory, maintaining equipment registers, and organizing maintenance activities. Additionally, you will actively contribute to safety, work methods, and work culture development. Candidates should have relevant education or work experience in the field, the ability to work independently, and good collaboration and communication skills. Proficiency in English is required alongside Finnish language skills. Basic IT skills are also necessary. Helsinki City Theatre values openness, courage, playfulness, and responsibility.
