The Education Center of Raisio City is hiring a fixed-term teacher for mathematics, physics, and chemistry from August 7, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The initial placement is at Tiedonpuisto School. The total teaching hours and demonstrations are 25. Salary: €3,294.02 plus Raisio supplement, overtime pay, possible annual increases, and possible VAT supplements. The Raisio supplement is an additional compensation paid to primary school teachers, currently amounting to €156.43. To succeed as a mathematics substitute teacher, good knowledge of the subject content and strong interpersonal skills are required. The ability to engage with students is highly valued. Selection will consider qualifications as well as suitability for the work community and the role of teacher in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. At Tiedonpuisto School, all students have access to a personal Chromebook. The school is equipped with modern educational technology in every classroom. Applicants are expected to have up-to-date ICT skills, an interest in developing teaching, and experience in utilizing digital learning materials. Qualifications required are those of a qualified teacher of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
