We are hiring mechanical and maintenance fitters as well as electrical and automation fitters in Lahti and Vaasa. We are looking for motivated and skilled electrical and automation fitters as well as mechanical and maintenance fitters in the Lahti and Vaasa regions. Mechanical and Maintenance Fitters As a mechanical and maintenance fitter, you will work on maintenance and repair tasks in the industry at our clients' production facilities in the Lahti and Vaasa areas. Your tasks include mechanical maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in collaboration with the maintenance team. Work is primarily day shifts, but readiness for shift work is considered an advantage. We expect from you: Experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting of production machinery, and mechanical installation Hydraulic and pneumatic skills Experience with servo motors and automation systems Ability to read drawings and circuit diagrams A proactive and responsible work attitude Ability to work both in a team and independently Willingness to travel Understanding of safety instructions and fluent communication in Finnish or English. Proficiency in both languages is an advantage. Valid professional certificates Knowledge of FMS production environments is considered an asset, and previous experience with FMS system maintenance and repair is a clear advantage for success in the role. Electrical and Automation Fitters As an electrical and automation fitter, you will work with our client companies in industrial maintenance and production. Your responsibilities include maintenance, automation, troubleshooting of processing and production machinery, electrical and automation installations, commissioning, and project work. You may also participate in PLC programming and automation design as part of maintenance and production development. Knowledge of FMS production environments is an asset, and previous experience with FMS system maintenance and repair is a clear advantage. You will work in a modern production environment with up-to-date equipment. We believe in the strength of teamwork, but you should also be able to work independently when needed. Work is primarily day shifts, but readiness for shift work is considered an advantage. We expect from you: Suitable education, such as a degree in electrical or automation installation Experience in troubleshooting production machinery and industrial maintenance Experience with automation systems, servo motors, or electrical systems Ability to read drawings and circuit diagrams Initiative and good teamwork skills Willingness to travel Understanding of safety instructions and fluent communication in Finnish or English. Proficiency in both languages is an advantage. Valid safety and electrical safety cards are an advantage.
