Tehtävänkuvaus
The early childhood education services of the City of Salo are seeking a special assistant. A special assistant promotes overall well-being, growth, and health of the child in accordance with their age and development, as well as supporting the child's learning. The special assistant participates in the care, upbringing, and education of children requiring support, in collaboration with other staff and the early childhood education special teacher. In early childhood education services, we actively develop play and learning environments and pedagogical play. As a special assistant in early childhood education, you will be involved in planning and implementing these as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting children's play, smooth daily routines, and participation with your expertise. The qualification requirement for a special assistant is a relevant degree or other suitable education for the field. We require good communication and teamwork skills, a developmental and flexible approach, as well as perseverance and commitment. The role requires the use of a personal car. The salary level is €2,255 per month. In addition, based on experience, you may receive additional pay according to the collective agreement, and a personal salary increase after six months. The employment begins on August 3, 2026. The primary placement is at Palometsä Daycare. Working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Applicants must provide a health certificate within 30 days of starting work and a criminal record extract as required by law 504/2002 before signing the employment contract.
