We are looking for service home caregivers for elderly care homes in the South Ostrobothnia wellbeing area for year-round temporary positions of varying lengths. The care homes provide around-the-clock assisted living and rehabilitative short-term accommodation. Work sites are located across South Ostrobothnia. The duties of a service home caregiver include cleaning tasks as well as tasks related to meal services and laundry. In addition to good professional skills, we expect applicants to be flexible, capable of working independently, possess good cooperation and communication skills, be responsible, and have a positive attitude towards the elderly. The work involves shift work, and working hours are determined by the work site. Qualifications include a professional degree in cleaning and property services, such as a facility maintenance or institutional cleaning qualification, or practical experience in the field. Work experience and a hygiene passport are considered an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required. Employment terms and salary are based on the applicable collective agreement. A criminal record extract in accordance with law (741/2023) § 28 must be presented before accepting the position.
