Are you an experienced concrete mixer / quality supervisor? Do you want to manage your own plant? We offer a position where you can take ownership of your work. What does the role of concrete mixer / quality supervisor involve? As a concrete mixer / quality supervisor, you will work at our ready-mix concrete plant in the Jyväskylä area. You will be responsible for ensuring that our plant produces concrete according to orders and quality standards. The position is permanent. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working on diverse tasks. You are accustomed to taking responsibility for entire processes, organizing your work, and progressing tasks independently. Concrete-related tasks include concrete production, monitoring the condition of machinery and equipment, maintenance work related to equipment, quality control of concrete, and other production-related duties. Working hours vary daily based on orders. What does success in this role look like? During the first 6 months, you will: - Become part of the team and understand the core values of the work community. - Get familiar with your specific area of responsibility and understand what diverse work entails. - Understand what safe working practices require and maintain safe work methods. By the end of the first year, you will: - Be able to manage your area independently. - Better anticipate and organize the needs of the plant. - Develop your work further. The position is autonomous, so previous experience in similar roles is required. Finnish language skills are necessary. A valid driver’s license (B) is mandatory. We also expect you to have completed the BY Concrete Laboratory Technician and Mixer course.
