The City of Parainen is seeking a dedicated youth instructor to start on August 1, 2026. The role involves working with and supporting the youth of our entire city. As a youth instructor, you will become part of our youth team, which consists of four youth instructors and one leisure secretary. The team works both independently and collaboratively on joint projects. We operate youth activities throughout the city and have three dedicated youth spaces. The work involves goal-oriented youth work, including: - Open activities in youth spaces - Collaboration with schools - Supporting children and youth participation - Planning and implementing small groups, projects, and activities in cooperation with other actors. The working hours are flexible, with occasional evening and weekend work. We expect that you: - Are passionate about youth work - Are interested in working long-term to promote the well-being and development of young people - Have an educational approach and strong social skills, capable of working independently, with a partner, or in a team - Are proactive, able to make decisions, and open to developing new activities based on youth needs. Good interaction and networking skills are also required, and you should enjoy a role with varied tasks and responsibilities.
