Sedu is seeking a teacher of mechanical and production engineering for the period from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, in Lapua (KY/100/2026). The teaching areas include the basic qualification in mechanical and production engineering and the vocational qualification in production technology, focusing on welding and robotics. The role involves teaching adults as part of labor market training. You will be responsible for guiding students at the Lapua and Seinäjoki units, depending on work tasks. Work may also be performed at other Sedu units. Labor market training is planned in collaboration with employment regions and aims for quick employment of students. What do you get? Qualifications required include a relevant higher education degree in accordance with Regulation 986/1998, Section 13, and at least three years of practical work experience in teaching-related tasks, or a specialized vocational qualification with at least five years of practical experience in similar roles, along with pedagogical studies. What Sedu expects? We require diverse experience in welding industry, robotics, and automation, knowledge of welding certification systems, and the ability to pass practical recruitment process tests. Additionally, proficiency in computer applications and industry software is necessary. The teacher's working hours are determined by teaching needs and amount to 1500 hours annually. Working hours are planned annually in the work schedule.
