We are looking for a motivated and skilled vehicle supervisor for Kuljetus Mäkivaara Oy. In this role, your main focus will be on the technical management, reliability, and lifecycle of transport equipment. You will ensure that the company's trucks and trailers are always operational and on the road. Coordinating maintenance of construction machinery is also part of your daily tasks, although it constitutes a smaller portion of the overall responsibilities. You will serve as the supervisor of maintenance personnel and ensure that the depot and maintenance chain operate seamlessly with transportation planning. Job Description - Transport Equipment Management: Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and inspections of trucks and trailers. - Construction Machinery: Ensure the implementation of maintenance schedules for the machinery fleet as part of your duties. - Procurement: Spare parts procurement and optimal inventory management. - Leadership: Managing maintenance staff and work shift planning. - Collaboration: Close communication with stakeholders and maintenance partners. We hope you have - Solid experience with transport equipment: Knowledge of heavy vehicle technology and maintenance needs. Experience with construction machinery is considered an advantage. - Systematic approach: Ability to manage large entities and keep equipment data and inspection intervals up to date. - Leadership skills: Good social skills and ability to act as a team leader. - Basic computer skills: Proficient in modern systems for equipment tracking. - Language skills: Good Finnish and English skills (technical documents/partners). - Attitude: Problem-solving skills and flexibility in rapidly changing situations.
