SASKY Mänttä Region Vocational Education Centre is a multidisciplinary vocational institution with approximately 750 students and about 75 professionals. Our operations are based on cooperation, development, and student-centeredness. We are seeking a Training Manager for a permanent position starting from October 1, 2026. As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for the broad management and development of service sector training. Your duties include planning training programs, ensuring quality, and working closely with the business community and stakeholders. Initially, you will oversee the following fields: restaurant and catering, business, social and health care, hair and beauty, cleaning and property management, preparatory training (TUVA), and common qualification modules. You will be responsible for the overall operation and finances of these fields, resource allocation, and monitoring results. You will also ensure compliance with training laws, student safety, and support as an operational leader in collaboration with management and support services. Additionally, you will serve as a supervisor for guiding staff and support pedagogical development and daily work. Requirements: - Experience in vocational education and knowledge of safety and occupational health practices - Strong financial skills and experience in financial planning and monitoring - Leadership or managerial experience - Practical experience in curriculum planning - Good interaction, collaboration, and teamwork skills - Development-oriented and goal-focused work approach - Proficiency in digital tools Preferred qualifications include experience in education, pedagogy, or organizational development, and knowledge of the fields under your responsibility. Fluency in spoken and written Finnish is required. Qualifications and employment conditions: Applicants must hold a suitable higher education degree and teacher qualification (according to regulation 986/1998). Employment terms are governed by the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). The salary for a qualified full-time Training Manager is €4969.12 per month, with additional task-based pay and possible allowances according to the collective agreement. The position is subject to a six-month probation period.
