The duties of a well-being coordinator include, among other things, preparing well-being reports and plans in collaboration with various stakeholders, collecting, monitoring, and analyzing well-being data to achieve population health goals. The coordinator is responsible for promoting well-being and health, strengthening participation across all age groups, and working preventively in cooperation with different sectors of the municipality, other actors, and regional organizations. The coordinator acts in various municipal influence bodies, serves as a contact person for preventive substance abuse work and domestic violence, and coordinates well-being project activities. The position requires an independent work approach, good interaction skills, organizational ability, teamwork skills, and basic knowledge of information and communication technology. Successful performance of the job requires a driver’s license and the use of a personal car. The work may also include occasional evening hours. The well-being coordinator position is within the well-being sector, and the qualification requirement is a suitable higher education degree and experience in promoting well-being and health. Experience in project work is valued. The position is paid according to the KVTES level pay 1ASI42. The employment is subject to a six (6) month probation period. Before starting, the selected candidate must present original diplomas and key employment certificates. If necessary, the candidate must also provide a criminal record extract as per the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
