A summer job as a midwife takes you to the heart of life's most significant moments. At the Women's Clinic, you will be personally involved in a woman's and family's life, performing work where your skills have an immediate impact. Each shift is different, and summer brings varied, genuinely meaningful encounters. Your tasks You will work as a midwife at the Tyks Women's Clinic's delivery department, which provides specialized medical care and monitoring for pregnancy and childbirth. Your work will focus on labor and delivery care: managing vaginal births, cesarean sections, and late pregnancy emergencies. The work is multidisciplinary and independent, but you will always have a team supporting you. The work is mainly three-shift work, and you can suggest preferred shifts within the framework of communal shift planning. What we expect from you We hope you have experience in delivery care and genuine enthusiasm for labor and delivery work. You have good interpersonal and communication skills, an active work approach, and a careful manner of working. You can adapt to changing situations, enjoy teamwork, and work independently as needed. The qualification requirement is a license according to the Act on Healthcare Professionals (559/1994). The LOVe must be completed or completed within one month of starting employment. Finnish language skills are required.
