About the position As a calibration specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks in the laboratory and at customer sites in the field, performing calibrations and temperature mappings. The role involves close customer contact and collaboration with sales colleagues in Finland and similar roles in Sweden. Nordtec plans to expand its operations in Finland further, offering an opportunity to influence the development of services in Finland. Your main tasks include calibrating measuring instruments in the laboratory and at customer sites. You will be responsible for calibration, maintenance, and documentation of equipment, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction. We value your ability and willingness to learn new skills and develop as an expert more than previous experience. Work is performed on-site in Helsinki or at customer locations across Finland and Sweden. You will plan your field visits and travel arrangements independently. Please note that measurement objects at customer sites may be located at high altitudes or in cold conditions. Your tasks include: - Performing calibrations in the laboratory and in the field, as well as mappings - Performing maintenance and repair work on equipment - Documenting work thoroughly and reporting to customers - Developing customer relationships and implementing new services in Finland We are looking for someone who Has good collaboration skills and is motivated by building strong relationships with colleagues and customers. You are flexible and adaptable to different situations. Additionally, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your own work. Furthermore, we hope you have: - Technical competence (through studies or work experience) related to the tasks in the role - Fluent skills in Finnish, Swedish, and English - Willingness to travel regularly and a B-driving license - Good knowledge of Excel and an easy time learning technical systems We value if you have: - Experience in calibration - Good knowledge of the quality system ISO 17025 - Previous work experience in the food, pharmaceutical, biotech, or oil industry Our recruitment process This recruitment process is managed by Academic Work, and our client requests that all questions regarding the position be directed to Academic Work.
