Come build meaningful everyday life for the elderly in Iittala! We are looking for four (4) committed and motivated practical nurses to join our team in elderly residential services at Hyvinvointikeskus Sauvola. The work is performed in three shifts, and you can start on June 22nd or according to agreement. We offer 24/7 long-term sheltered housing for 34 residents in bright and spacious facilities. Our building is divided into three small homes across two floors. As a practical nurse, your duties include caring for residents' daily needs, hygiene, and medication management. You will also act as a primary nurse for assigned clients. As a primary nurse, your responsibilities include preparing and implementing care and service plans in collaboration with residents and their relatives, as well as conducting RAI functional capacity assessments. We value your ability to meet residents individually and experience in dementia care. A genuine interest in elderly well-being and a rehabilitative approach to work are essential. Experience with the Life Care system is an advantage. We expect a positive attitude and good teamwork skills. We are looking for a colleague interested in working as part of our team and maintaining a positive environment in our unit. The minimum qualification is a basic degree in social and health care or an equivalent qualification. Registration with the Finnish Register of Social Welfare and Health Care Professionals is required. Participation in medication management requires a valid medication authority, which can be updated or obtained at the start of employment. We offer a responsible role in a positive work environment. The salary for this position is €2,647.17/month. In addition, experience-based pay of 3%-8% may be added. Vacation days are accrued based on service time. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Salary and other employment terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. The trial period is six months. In direct patient and client work, vaccination against infectious diseases as required by the Infectious Diseases Act, section 48, and a tuberculosis certificate as per section 55, are mandatory.
