Job Description As a QA/QC supervisor, you will be responsible for daily quality assurance and quality control work within your area of responsibility. You will ensure that installations, inspections, welding, testing, and documentation comply with approved standards, inspection and testing plans, and project quality requirements. You will act as the primary QA/QC contact for equipment suppliers and support delivery supervision and deviation report management. Your tasks include participating in the planning of inspection and testing plans, performing spot inspections, coordinating deviations in accordance with approved ITP requirements, monitoring installation quality, investigating and reporting NCRs, managing welding quality, handling quality documentation, supervising NDT tests and pressure tests, and performing required quality audits. We are seeking candidates for sites around Finland. This role involves travel, and you should be prepared to frequently visit different work sites. The work is mainly at project locations. Keys to success in this role To succeed, you should have practical experience in quality assurance and quality control tasks in industrial projects, preferably in mechanical, piping, or electrical fields. You should have strong experience in supplier quality management and delivery supervision, with proven work on ITPs and NCR handling. Experience and certification in welding quality assurance, inspections, and pressure testing are required. You should be able to work independently on QA/QC matters. A suitable technical educational background and proficiency in Finnish and English are necessary. Additionally, experience in large industrial, energy, or other critical projects, NoBo inspections, ISO-based quality systems, PED certification, and IWS/IWT/IWE certifications are considered an advantage.
