We are looking for a new colleague at our Oulu or Kajaani office to join the most interesting growth company in the regional electrical engineering sector. We are a North Finnish, entrepreneur-led, and appropriately sized company, where the daily work is not dictated by Helsinki managers or Swedish corporate leadership. We mainly operate in commercial and retail properties, public buildings, and special projects. In maintenance and renovation, we also serve housing companies and private clients. Our small but skilled and efficient design team works on projects including self-executed turnkey projects and space modifications. We also carry out pure design assignments for clients. The team includes an experienced electrical designer, under whom you can develop and learn practically. Best of all, our office also has seasoned professionals from the implementation side, from project management to installers. Just ask, and you will get an answer on how things really work on site. You will also have the opportunity to visit construction sites, see your work in action, and learn about other projects designed by your colleagues. Artificial intelligence solutions are currently prominent in the industry, and with us, you will follow and utilize AI development in your work. A suitable background for a junior electrical designer could be almost completed electrical engineering (AMK) degree or a completed degree with some work experience. The most important thing is familiarity with CAD tools, so you do not need to learn the basics from scratch. We value a desire to learn and develop, as well as genuine interest in the field. Your responsibilities will include at least: - Electrical design tasks in projects according to your skills - Drawing final images - Revising work drawings - Lighting calculations (Dialux) - Electrical calculations Your tasks may also include: - Designing smaller projects or parts of KVR projects based on your skills - Compiling project final documentation - Participating in design meetings - Designing central and circuit diagrams - Creating system descriptions What we expect from you: - Knowledge of electrical design basics using Magicad or Cadmatic - Work experience (including internships) in similar tasks or on-site work, e.g., as an installer, is considered an advantage - Ability to stand behind our principles - Desire to work in a local growth company in the field of building services - You are not [explicitly censored] What you will receive: - Salary - Summer leave equivalent to your current annual leave - Epassi benefits (sports, culture, well-being, lunch) Don’t bother with clichés here, send your application or call us to chat more!
