Työtehtävän kuvaus
We are seeking a practical nurse for a permanent position in the substitute staff of children's social care institutions within the Satakunta Wellbeing Service Area. The substitute staff work across all children's social care units operated by the Satakunta Wellbeing Service Area, with each substitute assigned to a specific home unit. The substitute staff are used to cover short-term and sudden absences before hiring an external substitute. The substitute works in their home unit if no other reservation has been made. Successful performance in this role requires experience working with children of various ages and their parents, the ability to support the child's overall development, and a valid driver's license. We also require broad collaboration skills, good interaction skills, a respectful, positive, and respectful attitude, organizational skills, and a willingness to develop. Experience in mental health and substance abuse work with children and adolescents, specialized skills such as working with neuropsychiatrically symptomatic children, medication training, and a hygiene passport are considered advantages. The qualification requirement for the practical nurse position is a professional degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or an equivalent previous qualification. The professional competence must be verifiable in JulkiTerhikki. The specialization should be either children and youth or substance abuse and mental health. Additionally, fluent spoken and written Finnish skills are required. The work is shift work, mainly morning and evening shifts (114.45 hours/3 weeks). Salary is determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a task-specific salary of €2760.33/month.
