Vanha Porvoo Ice Cream Factory is a small, cozy, and professional ice cream factory in Porvoo – a place where good raw materials turn into unforgettable moments. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a person to produce ice cream mix. As an ice cream mix producer, you will see and taste the results of your work every day. The job is practical, tangible, and important – you are responsible for what ultimately goes into the ice cream. Previous dairy experience is considered a big advantage! The employment starts immediately and will last at least until the end of August, with possible extension by negotiation. Production runs from Monday to Friday – weekends are free. Apply through Barona Careers and join us in creating the next unforgettable moments. WORK TASKS You will work as an ice cream mix producer at Vanha Porvoo Ice Cream Factory in Porvoo. Production operates in evening shifts from Monday to Friday, and you will be a key part of a small, close-knit production team. - Prepare ice cream mix according to recipes and work instructions - Ensure smooth production process together with the team - Maintain hygiene and cleanliness at all work stages - Handle raw materials and monitor their proper use - Report deviations and act responsibly from a food safety perspective - Keep your workstation tidy at the end of your shift REQUIREMENTS - Valid hygiene passport before starting work - Readiness to undergo salmonella testing before employment - Good physical condition – the work is practical and requires stamina - Energetic attitude with a sense of humor and willingness to work in a team ADVANTAGES - Previous dairy experience is a significant advantage - Previous experience in food or production work - Experience in hygienic production conditions - Interest in artisanal food production WE OFFER - Fixed-term employment through Barona from June at least until the end of August – extension to be discussed - Salary according to MARA collective agreement - 40-hour workweek, two-shift system - Small, professional team where everyone’s contribution is visible and heard - Work where you see – and taste – the results of your own hands HOW TO APPLY Submit your application with your CV through Barona Careers.
