Come and do varied and interesting work with elderly people! In the Seinäjoki home care area, a team member is needed for a fixed-term position until 10.9.2026, starting as agreed after recruitment. You can be an experienced professional or an upcoming home care worker. We provide good orientation to your tasks, and you will be supported by a friendly and professional team in the area. Geographically, we provide home care in Seinäjoki in the Jouppi-Marttila-Pohja-Hyllykallio area. As a practical nurse, your workday consists of diverse tasks, including basic care, wound care, medication management, and functional assessments. Each client has individual needs for assistance, which the home care responds to according to an agreed plan with a rehabilitative approach. The work is carried out as a team, following the principles of self-care. Home care work is mobile, diverse, and varied, and no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to do interesting, responsible, and independent work, as well as develop your professional skills. We hope you are brave in facing new situations and possess good teamwork and communication skills. The job requires good organizational skills and flexibility in changing situations. Home care responds to clients' needs for help every day of the year, and we work in two shifts. You will have the opportunity to influence your working hours. The qualification requirement for the position is a basic degree in social and health care, a practical nurse (qualification according to Law 559/1994 or 819/2015). Registration with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) is required. A driver's license and use of your own car are required. We also have company cars. Medication rights for home care must be completed or completed within two months of starting employment. Good oral and written Finnish language skills are required. In our selection, we emphasize the applicant's suitability for the position and the team. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the applicable collective agreement. A trial period applies to the employment. A criminal background check according to law (741/2023) § 28 must be presented before accepting the fixed-term position.
