Welcome to Terveystalo’s elderly doctor services as a phone triage nurse. We serve over 26,000 elderly patients in Finland and our operations are continuously expanding. Our concept emphasizes supported and enhanced service to customer care. The phone triage service operates 24/7 in basic health care. Phone triage nurses mainly respond to calls from nursing homes and home care. These consultations concern acute situations requiring a doctor’s opinion or action (e.g., prescription or referral). The service also supports our general practitioner service. Medical students can call if they lack other consultation support, and our doctors can consult the triage nurse if needed. The work is entirely remote from home. We offer a versatile job in a top team. The service operates 24/7 with flexible shifts (minimum 3-4 shifts per month, mainly weekends). Working hours are mainly weekdays and weekends from 08:00 to 08:00. Weekend shifts vary in length. The role suits especially those interested in geriatrics or specialized doctors. Qualification requirement: licensed doctor with at least 12 months of experience in elderly care. The activity is always in the patient record system, using Pegasos, OMNI360, Lifecare, Mediatri (discontinued 05/26), Uranus (ESH). Comprehensive training, a company device, phone, and excellent colleague support are provided. Good Finnish and Swedish language skills are required. Other requirements: good IT skills, ability to work independently, excellent communication skills.
